EARLYBIRD $50 ($10/ticket)
One ticket to each production of the 2018-19 Season for the FIRST SIX performances of the run. 1 FREE exchange per show title. If you miss your dates, you may schedule for other later weeks for an upgrade of $4/ticket. You may schedule for the last weekend for an upgrade of $5/ticket.

Season Ticket Holder may log in to their account to see special pricing on the following:

  • Theatre School and Summer Camps
  • Additional single tickets to the Mainstage productions
  • Single tickets to the 2018 Shakespeare Festival
  • Single tickets to the 2018-19 Magic Show Series
  • Party Room


NEW! Season Ticket Holders will receive a five codes (one for each show) to reserve their performance dates online. Login to your Choose any performance date in your designated weekends by contacting the Box Office by phone or email. As a 
Season Ticket Holder you are not guaranteed tickets until you have reserved them. It is possible that if you do not reserve ahead, the date and time that you want may be sold out. If you miss a show, a refund or exchange will not be issued. We strongly encourage you to select your dates prior to the start of the performances. If you cannot make a performance, friends and family may attend in your place, however tickets will only be held in the name of the account holder.

Ticket Exchanges (
one (1) free exchange per production title) must be made 48 hours prior to the date of your current selection. Additional ticket exchanges are $2.50 per ticket per exchange. You must email or call the box office to arrange your exchange. Exchanges are pending ticket availability.

Season tickets and benefits are non-transferable. However if you cannot make a performance, friends and family may attend in your place. Tickets will only be held in the name of the patron on the account. Season Ticket Holder privileges extend through the entire season of productions (May of 2019). These benefits cannot be extended for advance purchases to the following season’s performances, classes or other events. In order to do so, Season Tickets purchased for the new season.

You may either purchase online, at our theatre or call our Box Office at 801-532-6000 during box office hours. Purchases may be made at the door prior to the performance depending on availability. There are no fees for purchasing online. All tickets, are held at the Box Office to be picked up 30 minutes prior to show time.

Ticket exchanges are $2.50 per ticket exchange (subject to availability) and must be made 48 hrs in advance of either the performance you plan to see or the performance your are exchanging tickets from. You can only exchange for tickets within the same show title.
REFUNDS When you purchase tickets it is like buying a airline ticket. We are reserving your spot for you. It is our policy to not issue refunds or exchanges for missed shows. Earlybird Season Ticket holders receive one (1) free exchange per production title, Premium Season Ticket Holders receive two (2) per production title and Gold Season Ticket Holder receive three (3) per production title.

4 years of age and up is the general recommendation of Utah Children’s Theatre. However parents will need to make the decision as to whether their child is old enough to enjoy the performance while not disturbing other audience members. Some shows may be more appropriate for older children, while other’s for younger. To see recommendations for a specific show please visit the show page on our website. Babies & toddlers will not be admitted. All patrons must have a ticket.

Will Call and the theatre will open 30 minutes before our performances, our lobby will open 45 minutes prior to show time. 

Parking lots are on the North and South side of our building. There is also ample free street parking.

Seating is general admission. The theatre is comprised of three seating sections, center (the largest) with smaller left and right stage seating sections. LATE SEATING We make an effort to start our shows on time. In most cases we will seat latecomers at the first convenient break in the performance. Latecomers will be seated in designated seating. In the case of some performances we may not be able to seat you until intermission due to the orientation of our theatre.

Cell phones noises and screens are distracting to those around you and the performers. Please turn them to silent or off. The performances are property of The Children's Theatre or in partnership with licensing companies. Photography, video or audio recording of any kind is strictly prohibited by law. 

Chronically noisy or loud children should be taken out of the auditorium.

Intermission is approximately 15 minutes. Baked goods, and house made drinks & treats are offered in the Soda Fountain before the performance and at intermission and after performances. Quick treats are available at the concessions counter in the lobby. UCT concessions are allowed in the theatre. NO OUTSIDE FOOD PERMITTEDThe Soda Fountain and Concessions Counter purchases support our non-profit mission.

Please contact 48hrs prior to the performance so that we may remove our accessible seats and reserve seats next to the area we accommodate wheelchairs.

Gift Certificates can be redeemed online, by phone or in person. UCT does not receive your GC number. It is automatically generated and sent to the email provided upon checkout. Gift Cards may only be purchased in person and may be redeemed online or in person.

Become familiar with the story. Read it in parts or in full with your children. 

With some stories there are movie versions you can preview to see if it is appropriate for your child.

Strobe and lighting effects may be used along with sound and sound effects.

The UCT stage is fairly intimate, with seating on three sides for the stage. The actors can come very close to the audience.
