Youthstage is a demanding program with a high level of commitment.
YOUTHSTAGE requires young actors to be fully committed to the program. Actors should plan on attending all rehearsals and performances unless otherwise noted or discussed with Stage Manager/Director. Production involves between 60 - 80 hrs of rehearsal and 6-9 performances. Young actors are held to a high level of performance, discipline and commitment to the production.
PARENT'S ROLEYouthstage is a demanding program and requires parents to support the young actors in whichever roles they are cast in. Parent's should be willing to support an ensemble environment. Parents are also asked to help during rehearsals and performances such as hair and makeup support, cleaning, ushering, cast meals and other areas. The program is much more successful when our fabulous parents are a part of this unique experience.
